I have a new fishing buddy!!!

We returned back home to Michigan on Monday night. We had a wonderful time at my in-laws house with our neighbors. We were house sitting for my in-laws while they traveled south to Mississippi to visit with their son, daughter in-law, and grand kids. I am happy to say I have a new fishing buddy :) His name is Levi. Levi and I went out on the rowboat one afternoon and this is one of the 6 bluegills he caught. Can't you tell he is a little excited???

It is Wed. afternoon, and I am waiting for my wife and Matt to get off from work so we can hit the road. Our neighbors and great friends, Matt, Val, Miriam, Levi, and last but not least, Sawyer are going to be coming down with us to do some fun things down in rural Illinois. As I have said in a prior blog entry, I am sure we will do alot with nature. Miriam and Levi are so excited they can hardly stand it. I was outside packing the trailblazer earlier and Levi came up to me and asked me if they were going to ride with us or in their van, or he wanted to know if we were going to sleep in the same bed, and so forth. They were all cute or should I say handsome questions. I am sure that Matt and Val are looking forward to the trip also. Here is a very nice family picture of all of them.

Weekend at the In-laws

Janet and I have spent Labor Day weekend down in rural Illinois with my in-laws Ray and Iris. It was also Mom (Iris's) birthday and we took her out to eat at the local restaurant. I have taken several pictures from around the property and will post them on here later. Val, Matt, Miriam, Levi, and Sawyer are coming with us in a couple of weeks and I know Val will have a very fun time with her camera taking pictures out around the property. The kids will have fun collecting eggs from the chickens, fishing, and several other activities.
